As we wrap up another very successful season at Lawrence Juniors Volleyball Club we wanted to make certain to thank everyone for their support and participation. We appreciate so much the time and effort that our players, coaches, and parents put into making each practice and tournament fun and valuable for our athletes.

Please find below information about our upcoming End of Season gathering and contract agreements for next season. Yes, next season will be here before we know it and we would like to begin getting our numbers set and all our ducks in a row.

Let’s all continue to support those teams that are still playing this April as they work hard to continue to get better and be competitive in their respective divisions.

LJVBC will be holding our mock tournament December 18th, 5:30-10 PM, at Rock Chalk Park. We’ll be practicing officiating, scoring, substitutions, etc. No regular practices will be held that night. All teams will be playing matches. More info will be announced shortly.

AGE GROUPS 13U – 17U:  Nov. 5^th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm

LJVBC members may now register for the 2015 season through HOA.  Please go to the website, log on through your webpoint ID, and join HOA. Each player, coach and assistant coach must register with HOA and choose Lawrence Juniors as your club. 

 Open gym and tryout schedules are on the calendar, and the teams still needing players will be filled at that time.

 Our club organizational meeting will be Sunday, November 9^th at Corpus Christi Catholic School in the gym.  The meeting will be at 6:00 pm.  Please put this date on your calendars and have your registrations completed by then.

The practice schedule has been created and it is available as a PDF below. We are also working on adding all schedules to the site calendar, but that is taking a little more time. Eventually they will all be on there. Schedules are subject to change, but any modifications will be posted here.

If you have not had a chance to attend open gyms and/or tryouts this summer and would like to be considered for a spot before November, please fill out the following form. Someone from the club will contact you.

Open Gyms and Camps are concluded for the summer. Many teams are full, but we still have openings on several teams. LJVBC will be hosting open gyms at Rock Chalk Park on November 3rd and November 5th to fill open spots, and will also hold tryouts on November 8th. Please check the website closer to those dates for more details.

Contracts are signed and Lawrence Juniors is officially Lawrence Juniors “at Rock Chalk Park.”  We are very excited about this move and the opportunities it provides our club to grow and gain visibility within the region.  Teams will have two hour practice sessions rather than an hour and a half, and the facility will be open over all holidays eliminating the need to find alternate facilities over Christmas and spring break.  Additionally, there is a great workout room and track which is free to use for Lawrence residents!  Parents will be able to bring kids to practice and get in a great workout absolutely free while your child is at practice.  There is a restaurant open during practice hours if you want to grab some dinner, and countless other amenities.  We have seen all the pictures, and it promises to be an amazing facility!
